Carlisle Kenyon took over the reins of the Kenyon Noble Lumber Company in 1929, following the passing of his father, Squire C. Kenyon. Under Carlisle’s dedicated leadership, the company weathered the challenges of the Great Depression, World War II, and beyond. His commitment to growth, resilience, and service to others helped transform Kenyon Noble into a vital pillar of Southwestern Montana—a legacy that continues to thrive today. Carlisle's passion for his work, along with his devotion to the community, laid the foundation for the success of the company, just as we aim to lay a foundation of exceptional experiences here at Carlisle.

By naming our restaurant after Carlisle Kenyon, we honor the values that have shaped our region for over a century: hard work, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to serving others. Just as Carlisle helped guide his family business through changing times, we seek to nurture our community, offering a place where friends and families gather to enjoy high-quality food, warm hospitality, and a sense of belonging.

At Carlisle, we believe in the power of tradition and the importance of creating something that stands the test of time. Whether you're enjoying a meal with us or making new memories with loved ones, we invite you to experience the same sense of community and care that has been passed down through generations. Like the Kenyon family before us, we are committed to providing a space where growth, connection, and great food are at the heart of everything we do.
